No zoo can provide a “natural” environment for animals but the Jungle Zoo is especially inadequate, and has been exposed in a number of damning investigations as an animal welfare disaster.
This site will be used to post new and existing information about the conditions in the zoo, as well as news on the ongoing campaign to close it down and rehome the animals currently locked inside. Feel free to get in touch if you have any information to share about the Jungle Zoo, or if you’d like to join the campaign.
Take action
Whether you live in Cleethorpes or not, there are opportunities to help bring about the closure of this prison for animals. You can hold demonstrations or flyer outside the zoo, put on an information stall in the town centre, deliver flyers in the area, write to local newspapers, or do anything else you can think of!
